Before that: twenty-odd years in the nonprofit, public, and private sectors as a scientist, campaigner, and developer — co-founding Leadnow.ca, directing campaigns at openmedia.ca building training software for the Canadian Forces, and more. I started out in atmospheric chemistry, and still approach software and strategy with a scientific mindset.

Tools for working with BC Legislature and MLA data: a scraper that publishes fresh MLA contact data nightly, with an API, Python module, and lightweight embeddable widget that looks up a voter's electoral district from their address.
